Ross-on-Wye Pool – Swimming Pool Conversion

Following quotes from our competitors who stipulated what could and could not be done, we provided our client with a fresh approach, “what would you like?”. Needless to say, by listening and quoting on their desires, we won the job.

Working through the winter months of January and into February, 2025, the weather hampered us a little, but our understanding clients made everything so easy. Having removed the original ‘foil’ pool and dug a general shape, the spoil allowed us to nominally increase the size, allowing them to swim, rather than paddle, in their pond – a win for all parties!

Due to the topography of the ground, we introduced an infinity edge across one part of the pond, so they could pause and enjoy the views down the valley when everything was complete. The designed, straight deck became a corner deck (from our Brecon job) and stepping stones (from our Ross job) were incorporated here too, along with an upper deck for linking through future landscaping.

Everything coming down a long slope was … interesting, but that’s what makes these projects so pleasurable and unique. Every one is bespoke, which we love.
