Our Journey
This customer-lead website has been established following requests from our clientele, filling the gap between complete DIY projects and the really expensive alternatives.
Customers regularly express their frustrations when they are told they “Can’t do that” with their dreams for a new swimming pond. Our approach is that you ‘can’ do that, and let’s see how we can work together to achieve it.

Our History
We’ve grown into swimming ponds as there was a need for companies like us to listen to customers like you – and we do!
Turtle started back in 2001 and has grown over the years by listening to our customers. Instead of saying “No, that won’t work…”, our approach has always been to listen to what you want, and then work out how to deliver it. This was spotted by our liner supplier back in 2008, when we were sponsored to undertake the (then) Firestone liner welding course, and a baptism of fire occurred in 2010 when we completed our first project which, co-incidentally, happened to be the largest in the UK that year.
Roll forward to Covid, and a request to help Rosendale Farm line their self-build swimming pond alongside our ‘can do’ attitude, saw the start of our expansion into swimming ponds. Our second, full, turn-key project at Ross-on-Wye were quoted by competitors at twice the value of ours, and told they couldn’t have what they wanted. They could, and our video is testament to collaborative working.
Approaching each project with a Scouting background, we employ honesty, fairness and integrity into everything we do.

Mark and his team at Turtle did a great job on our natural swimming pond. in early conversations he was helpful in demystifying what can seem rather intimidating challenges in construction and getting getting the biology right. Lining the pond and planting was done efficiently and in a timely manner. One of the best features has been after sales support in sorting out teething problems. Our pond is a beautiful addition to the garden and we are really pleased we found Turtle to help with the construction.
