Chadlington Swimming Lake

We were asked by White Horse Contractors and our friends, B.D. Westby Groundworks Ltd to come and apply our skill and experience to lining this lake in Oxfordshire. The usual, beautiful preparation from Barrys’ team makes work like this a dream.

The client wanted a swim lane two people wide around the island, so this caused some unique problem solving in the form of sheet piling, above-waterline walling and the 3D lining of it all.

Works continue throughout 2025 where a boat-house is being constructed on steel pilings at the far end – we hope to be able to aquatically plant at the end of the season for over-wintering, ready for 2026 enjoyment.
